The above .BMP save items decrease the color depth to the noted number of colors (image may not actually contain enough colors to fill the entire color count. ex. A 256 color bitmap may only contain 97 real colors). Because of this any previous additional colors will be lost and can not be recovered by simply saving to a higher color depth (i.e. .BMP, .JPG, .TIF save file type options).

·         (FPX) FlashPix digital image storage developed by Eastman Kodak Company in collaboration with Hewlett-Packard Company, Live Picture, Inc., and Microsoft Corporation. FlashPix image files contain multiple resolution images along with transformation information to insure the best display on the viewing hardware.

·         (JP2) JPEG 2000 is an international standard (ISO/IEC 15444-1) for still image compression. JPEG 2000 supports both lousy and lossless compression of grayscale and color images.

·         (MRW) Minolta is the raw format produced by Minolta DiMAGE 5 and DiMAGE 7 cameras.

·         (NEF) Used by Nikon E5000, E5700, D1, D1H, D1X, and D100 digital cameras can produce raw CCD images in Nikon Electronic Image Format.

  18. Changed the way labels are placed for thumbnails in the Thumbnail viewer.  In the past labels were placed over the bottom 15 pixels of the thumbnail images.  Now they are placed below the thumbnail completely.  By showing or hiding labels you may be able to view more thumbnails on the screen at a time; this depends on the selected thumbnail size.
